Vinhal has created more than 2.000 digital compilation albums, working as a freelance music curator at X5 Music Group for more than 10 years now, X5 Music is a Swedish redistribution label acquired by Warner Music in 2016, specialized in digital music compilations. These playlists are available across all major online music stores & streaming platforms, reaching more than 10 million streams in total.
Since 2012, Vinhal has focused on Brazilian & Latin Music (Reggaeton, MPB, Samba, Sertanejo, Baile Funk, Ranchera, Salsa, Flamenco and more). Additionally, he has curated Chinese, Japanese, African and Eastern European tracks, working with World Music labels such as Luaka Bop, Six Degrees Records, oneRPM, ARC Music, Welk and others.
Vinhal has also worked with Soul, Funk, Jazz and Classical Music catalogs, such as Blue Note and Atlantic Records, Universal and Warner Music. He has created some of the few Latin American Classical compilations available as digital albums. Working with jazz tracks, Vinhal has compiled albums from stride, bebop and cool jazz to avant-garde and free jazz compilations. He has also created compilations on Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock, Soul and Funk genres.
